Question? on Chat logger

Everything works, although I was getting odd debug errors when using the 'Reports Viewer', downloading the newest version cleared that up.  My question is about the specific 'Chat logger'.
 
Example:  
Keylogger shows-
    yahoomessenger.exe C:\ProgramFiles\Yahoo!\Messenger\etc\etc
and gives timestamped text-
    11.12.2006 21:33 hello, how are you
    11.12.2006 21:34 what are you doing
 
However, under the 'Chats' section (Report - Chats and Instant Messages), there has never been an entry.  I have tried under multiple users, both admin and limited, even used the trial version on a different computer.  Emailed and locally viewed the .ltr files and used the old and new version of the Log Viewer.
Does this feature work?  
Is there any preferences available in Spy Lantern for Instant messages?
What could the problem be?

It seems to me that this is the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger.

I am using:
 
AT&T Yahoo! Messenger with Voice (8.0.0.505)
MyYahoo Module (7.5.0.1) on WinXP

Updated** as of this mornings update from Yahoo!, I now have:
 
Yahoo! Messenger (8.1.0.209)
MyYahoo Module (8.0.0.1)
