Title: Hide Files not working reliably Post by rommel on Jul 1st, 2004, 4:15am I am evaluating Hide Files with the freeware version 2.3 on Windows XP Pro. I am hiding a single folder in stealth mode. I can hide my folder by manually switching Hide Files on from within the programme, but whenever I restart the computer, although the service is running, Hide Files is automatically reset to off, meaning I have to manually go into Hide Files again to switch it back on in order to hide my folder! On a second computer, however, I don't have to do this as Hide Files always starts up in "hide on" mode. I prefer the second mode of operation. How can I set up my main computer so that Hide Files always starts in "hide on" mode? |

Title: Re: Hide Files not working reliably Post by Eric on Jul 1st, 2004, 6:56am Yes, this reset problem was in the freeware version of Hide Files but it's fixed now in shareware version. So simply download and reinstall latest program version. |
