Locked files are accessible

Sad With Hide Files trial version 3.5 i hide a xxxx.doc file  
and "lock files". By RMU of Word i can open it and view it.  Shocked
I use Windows XP Home 2002 SP2 french version.

What hiding mask did you try? Can you please describe all your actions in detail (i.e. how did you hide file, maybe step be step) so we could replicate your situation on the our lab computer?

The process is :
 
Creat a new Word document in N:\Work\Test.doc
Open it with Word, modify and save
Open Hide Files with Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H
Drag and drop this doc from explorer to Hide Files  
I choose "This file(s) only"
The mask is N:\Work\Test.doc*
"On" is activated
I activate the lock fonction
And close the Hide Files window
I open word and try to access N:\Work\Test.doc via the Most Recent Use Files list
The doc open in word !

We can't repeat such problem on our lab computer. All is OK, any hidden and locked doc files are unacceptable via MRU list of MS Word. Can you please specify what MS Word version do you use?
