Hides too well?

Just downloaded the free trial version to check things out. I am wondering, however if there is a common fix to the problem I am having.

I hide files on my USB Pendrive (for sensitive reasons). First, let me explain that the type of files I am hiding are Mp3 files. The program works great in recovering and securing these files on my laptop (and pendrive), however if I take my USB pendrive to another computer, only Microsoft Media Player can see the hidden files and play them.
Real Player or Quicktime cannot see the files.
If I unhide my files on the pen drive, everything works fine. Is this program coding to only Microsoft? or is there some way around this.
Thanks

It seems something is wrong here because our product allows to hide files / folders on computer where "Hide Files" is installed only so all your laptop hidden mp3 files have to be visible and accessible on another computer.
