Hi, I'm trying to find a way to remove what ever software is adding keylogger.cone.trojan entries to my Win 2000 Pro registry each tim my machine is started.  I have uptodate Symantic anti virus/firewall running which does not detect anything with a full system scan, PC Tools SpyDoctor detects the registry entries and removes them but does not detect program that keeps putting them back...  I've run the McAfee Stinger as well!  Any thoughts on what I can do?  Will a Spydex product sort this out for me?  Thanks in advance, regards Graham

Current version of Advanced Anti Keylogger can't remove detected keyloggers. Such feature will be available in the next program version only. Today our program simply blocks ability of any keyloggers (both known and unknown) to capture users keystrokes i.e. our proghram works like personal keyboard firewall.

Concerning keylogger.cone.trojan removal...
It seems Symantec has described removal instructions of this Trojan. Quotation from Symantec website:

<<...The following instructions pertain to all current and recent Symantec antivirus products, including the Symantec AntiVirus and Norton AntiVirus product lines.

- Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
- Update the virus definitions.
- Restart the computer in Safe mode or VGA mode.
- Reverse the changes that the Trojan made to the registry.
- Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Keylogger.Cone.Trojan.

For details on each of these steps, read the following instructions...>>
