Friend or foe?

Hi,

I just ordered Advanced Anti Keylogger because of a file found by a recently installed spyware detection program. The file is  antiak.sys, the name is AK driver. A google search points in two directions, that "AK driver" really is a keylogger (http://www.eltima.com/ccc/ticket/28/) and that "antiak.sys" may be  the remains of an anti-keylogging program I subsequently uninstalled a while ago (http://www.dslreports.com/nsearch?q=antiak.sys&old=All+Time&cat= ).  I'll run AAK as soon as the transaction clears.

Do you folks know  antiak.sys ? A search from my XP Start menu and from a DOS coomand both say it's there but with zero bytes.

Thanks folks.

At first our Advanced Anti Keylogger blocks keylogging attempts of any keyloggers, both known or unknown, because it works like personal keyboard firewall without signature analyze of detected keyloggers.

About your found strange antiak.sys file. We suppose you have to apply to developers of your <<...recently installed spyware detection program...>> to make clear origin and hazard level of this file. What we can confirm exactly this is not file of our products.

FYI. Unfortunately some of anti spyware programs (especially freeware) based on signature analyze have a lot of false detections. That is why qualitative customer support from developers of such products is very important today.
