test delivery failed

I just download spy pro (trial version) to test out.  In the EMAILS DELIVERY tab, I chose email for delivery method.  Then I enter:  
To:  myemail@yahoo.com
From:  myemail@yahoo.com (does this email the same with To box?)
SMTP Server:  smtp.mail.yahoo.com
 
the result is failed.  Could you please let me know why?  I want to test out the trial version first before purchasing the full version

You use incorrect yahoo SMTP mail server. Please use any from this list:
 
g.mx.mail.yahoo.com
a.mx.mail.yahoo.com
b.mx.mail.yahoo.com
c.mx.mail.yahoo.com
d.mx.mail.yahoo.com
e.mx.mail.yahoo.com
f.mx.mail.yahoo.com

Hi Eric since someone else already posted with email issues I'll post mine here to help keep the clutter down on the forums.
 
I use Gmail and MSN for email and I've tried using the following for both my emails :
 
gsmtp183.google.com  
gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com  
alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com  
alt2.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com  
gsmtp163.google.com  
 
and
 
mx3.hotmail.com  
mx4.hotmail.com  
mx1.hotmail.com  
mx2.hotmail.com  
 
The error I'm getting is the following (minus my email of course)
- SMTP transcript:
421 Cannot connect to SMTP server 65.54.234.141 (65.54.234.141:25), connect error 10060
 
I am on the trial version of your guy's product so I'm not sure if that may be causing the issue. I've checking out the Help file but can seem to find anything else that I can use for the SMTP information.
 
Any help is appreciated. Thanks Eric in advance for any help you are able to provide.

At first, what are your complete email delivery settings (to:. from:, smtpSmiley?

Primary Email account
email@msn.com
smtp = mx4.hotmail.com
 
advanced is  
use SMTP authentication = checked
with my msn email login information
 
 
Backup Email account
email@gmail.com
gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com
 
advanced is  
use SMTP authentication = checked
with my gmail email login information
 
 
For sender's email I have my gmail with teh subject of "scheduled report".
 
If this isn't the information you need let me know and I can look up the gmail/hotmail settings for smtp but it may take me a little bit to get both.

You can try to change your sender's email from google to msn address and even without advanced settings. If you will use your google address for primary account, you can keep your google address in the sender's email box. Main rule is to use the same address in the TO: and FROM: (senders email) boxes for appropriated SMTP server. i.e.
 
TO: email@msn.com
FROM: TO: email@msn.com
SMTP: msn mail server
 
or
 
TO: email@google.com
FROM:: email@google.com
SMTP: google mail server
 
For that configuration "Advanced settings" are not required usually.

Error :
 - SMTP transcript:

Changed my emails to all reflect my gmail but still get the same above error the only difference is the error now displays instantly and I don't have to wait for 3-5 minutes to get it.

But 65.54.234.141 is IP address of MSN mail server still. Are you sure that you changed your smtp to google mail server?
