Screenshot 1 = Failed - This test simulates pushing the keyboard "Print Screen" keystroke by using the keyb_event() APl Screenshot 2 = Pass I was hoping that this program would of flagged every method used for capturing keys and screens but it didnt http://firewallleaktester.com/aklt.htm |

Title: Re: Test your Anti Key Logger Post by nunya_beznis on Jan 26th, 2007, 2:20am yankinNcrankin, I ran the same tests after they were released on the firewallleaktester site. I was not surprised. AAK has not been updated in over a year now, which indicates to me development is dead. It will be interesting to see the response to this. No doubt a promise will be made to fix this "in future versions", but to be blunt I have lost faith in Spydex. :'( |

Title: Re: Test your Anti Key Logger Post by Eric on Feb 27th, 2007, 6:58am Actually your mentioned "non passed test methods" are used maybe by 1-3% of all spy software only. But to add this addition protection to AAK, we will need to change all current architecture of program what will take a considerable amount of development time. That is why such protection will be added in the next program versions and we can not answer definitely when it will be available. By the way we never declared that AAK has absolute protection because there is not absolute protection in any security software unfortunately (either anti-virus products or personal firewalls or anti-spywares ...). |
