Title: AAK and antivirus program updates Post by nalfonso on Nov 29th, 2006, 7:21am I am testing AAK's trial version. On my second day of trial, upon system start up, when my antivirus (AVG from Grisfot) downloads the updated files, AAK flags some files as "prohibited". What is going on? Thanks. |

Title: Re: AAK and antivirus program updates Post by Eric on Nov 30th, 2006, 5:23am At first we want to draw your attention to the fact that keystrokes monitoring technology could be used by any applications. Trusted applications can use this technology for hot-key combinations, switching of keyboard input languages, detecting of user's inactivity and so on. Advanced Anti Keylogger (when it is in the High Security Mode) prohibits keystrokes monitoring for absolutely all applications including trusted. You can leave AAK prohibited state for AVG if it works as need. Otherwise you can change AAK status for AVG as allowed because it is your trusted anti-virus application. |
