Title: Defeating hardware keyloggers Post by kad on Aug 20th, 2005, 10:07pm AAK protects well against software keyloggers, but it would be a great addition to the product if it could also prevent hardware loggers from capturing text input. It seems to me, now that AAK has screen capture protection, some sort of on screen "virtual keyboard" (with input via the mouse) would achieve just that. This would be especially useful for the more paranoid amongst us ;) Is there any chance such functionality could be added in the future? |

Title: Re: Defeating hardware keyloggers Post by Eric on Aug 23rd, 2005, 2:05am In any case you can use Windows 2000/XP integrated virtual keyboard to protect yourself against hardware keyloggers right now. To start virtual keyboard you have to go either to: Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Acceessibility -> On-screen Keyboard or simply press <Win + U> default Windows hotkey. |
