Why are these programs attempting monitoring?

in my list of Currently Loaded Module these programs are listed:

C:\Program Files\sygate\SPF\smc.exe
c:\WINDOWS\System32\SSsensor.dll

C:\PROGRA~1\ICQ\ICQ.EXE
c:\Program Files\ICQ\Icq.exe

Screenshot Capture Program:

c:\Program Files\Mozilla\firefox.exe
c:\Program Files\QUICKENW\QW.EXE
c:\WINDOWS\system32\shlwapi.dll

Note: I don't think anything is wrong with Advanced Anti Keylogger.  And if some of these should not be here it might JUST be that I hit some unexpected key, though I'm skeptical.  I have no deliberate keyboard hooks to provide for hotkeys.

I am using XPSP2 and Firefox.  And the above list was what was in Currently Loded Modules list immediately after booting.  All above programs I have previously marked as "Allow" and "always".  Other programs do show up in the Currently Loaded Modules list: e.g. MSN Msgr or Windows Explorer if/when I use them.  (ICQ is set to load on boot.)

Why might Firefox, Quicken and shlwapi.dll want to snapshot a screen...want ALL THAT information?

Why would Sygate andl ICQ also attempt keystroke monitoring?.

Keystrokes monitoring and screenshot capture technologies can be used by any software including allowable, for example  for programs hot-key monitoring, users activity monitoring and so on. That is why your mentioned programs are in the list of Advanced Anti Keylogger.

You can freely try to setup prohibited rule for those programs (one by one). In the most of cases all those program will continue the normal work at that.
