Screen blinks

I downloaded the trial version of Advanced Anti Keylogger and installed it. All was ok, however, the monitor occasionally blinks. The blink is less than 100ms, but noticeable.  I uninstalled the software and the blinking stopped. Any suggestions?
 
Great software and super user friendly.
